SOMON AIR INCREASES FLIGHT FREQUENCY ON THE DUSHANBE – MUNICH ROUTE

Somon Air is pleased to announce the expansion of its flight schedule on the Dushanbe – Munich route. Starting from May 7, flights will be operated twice a week — on Wednesdays and Saturdays — offering passengers more convenient travel options between Tajikistan and Germany.

Abdulkosim Valiev, CEO of Somon Air, stated: “The increased flight frequency to Munich is part of the Republic of Tajikistan’s national program for the development of civil aviation, aimed at expanding international air connectivity and strengthening ties with foreign countries. This decision also reflects the airline’s strategic commitment to broadening its international route network and reinforcing the air bridge between Tajikistan and Europe. As part of this strategy, Somon Air actively promotes its services at major international venues. In particular, our annual participation in ITB, the largest travel trade show held in Germany, enables us not only to establish new partnerships in the European market but also to showcase Tajikistan as a promising travel destination. Our goal is to ensure maximum comfort and flexibility for our passengers when planning their journeys. The increase in flights to Munich will undoubtedly meet the needs of both our fellow citizens living and working in Germany, and international travelers — including tourists, business visitors, and those flying to visit friends and family.”

Departures from Dushanbe are scheduled for 00:10, and from Munich at 17:00 (local time). Flights are operated using modern Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 aircraft. Tickets are already available for purchase via the official website www.somonair.com, the mobile app, and partner agencies.

Somon Air successfully operates on the international market and is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The airline’s route network includes destinations in Germany, the UAE, Turkey, China, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, India, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
