On 15 May 2026, a productive meeting took place between the management of Somon Air and a delegation from Boeing.

During the talks, the parties discussed key issues related to the entry into service of the new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, which are scheduled for delivery to Tajikistan in July–August 2027.

Particular attention was paid to operational excellence – a set of measures aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and improving the airline’s performance in line with international standards.

The expansion of the fleet with modern aircraft will enable Somon Air to enhance the quality of passenger service, expand its route network, and strengthen its position in the regional civil aviation market.
