SOMON AIR RESUMES FLIGHTS ON THE DUSHANBE – BISHKEK ROUTE

Somon Air is pleased to announce the resumption of flights on the Dushanbe – Bishkek route, starting from March 14, 2025. This has been made possible thanks to successful negotiations between the heads of two states – the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Honourable Sadyr Japarov, which took place during the state visit of the President of Tajikistan to Bishkek.

The resumption of air traffic between the two capitals is an important step in strengthening bilateral friendly relations as well as economic and cultural ties between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. This decision will also contribute to the development of tourist exchanges.

The first flight on the Dushanbe – Bishkek route will take place on March 14, 2025. The departure time from Dushanbe will be 09:00, and from Bishkek – 13:30 local time. From March 23, flights will be operated weekly on Sundays. The departure time from Dushanbe will be 10:30, and from Bishkek – 14:20 local time. The flight duration from Dushanbe is 1 hour 30 minutes, and from Bishkek – 1 hour 20 minutes. Additionally, in the near future, the airline plans to increase the frequency of flights to Bishkek to two flights per week – on Wednesdays and Sundays. Flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 aircraft.

"Somon Air is happy to contribute to strengthening cooperation between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
