Somon Air announces the recruitment of specialists for  Engineering and Maintenance Department

Somon Air announces a vacancy for the following positions:

  • Powerplant Engineer (Engines, APU);
  • Airframe and Aircraft Systems Engineer;
  • Avionics Engineer;
  • Reliability Engineer;
  • E-Enabling Engineer;
  • Aircraft Maintenance Technician - Category B1/B2 (B787, B737);
  • Quality Control Engineer.

 

Requirements for candidates:

  • Higher aviation education or secondary specialised technical education in the field of aviation (aircraft maintenance, engineering).
  • A valid B1 and/or B2 licence in accordance with civil aviation requirements (Part-66) is considered an advantage.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Line Maintenance or Base Maintenance.
  • Knowledge of airworthiness regulatory requirements.
  • Good command of technical documentation and experience working with it.
  • English proficiency at least at Intermediate level (for reading and working with technical documentation).
  • Experience in the aviation industry is preferred.
  • Relevant education, training and licences are preferred.
  • Ability to analyse technical data and prepare reports.
  • Monitoring and control of aircraft, engine and systems airworthiness.
  • Implementation of Airworthiness Directives (AD), Service Bulletins (SB) and other mandatory requirements.
  • Monitoring of technical condition and reliability indicators.
  • Participation in the development and improvement of the Maintenance Programme.
  • Technical support and cooperation with maintenance organisations and manufacturers.
  • Preparation of reports and materials for internal and external audits.
  • Performance of maintenance tasks within the scope of specialization.
  • Knowledge of the national history and culture, the Constitution, and the Air Code of the Republic of Tajikistan.
