Somon Air LLC announces a competition for the position of Aircraft Performance Engineer in the Aviation Department.

Qualification requirements:

• Higher education (bachelor's degree or higher) in the field of aviation engineering, aerodynamics, mechanical engineering and/or air traffic control;
• At least 1–3 years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably in the following areas:
• Takeoff/Landing Performance Analysis;
• Flight Planning;
• Weight & Balance;
• Runway Analysis;
• Knowledge of ICAO Annex 6 requirements, Performance Class A/B, ETOPS/EDTO standards would be an advantage;
• Confident MS Excel skills (advanced level); Knowledge of MATLAB or Python would be an advantage;
• Understanding of MEL/CDL and their impact on aircraft performance;
• Skills in preparing professional audit, control and analytical reports;
• Proficiency in Tajik, Russian and English is mandatory;
• Knowledge of the state symbols, state language, history and culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan.
