Dear passengers!

According to the requirements of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, the passports of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan leaving for Turkey must be valid for at least 150 days. Entry into Turkey is not permitted for persons whose passports are valid for less than 150 days.

In addition, in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey, effective from March 15, 2021, all passengers traveling to Turkey must fill in the electronic travel entry form in advance on the website https://register.health.gov.tr/. The form must be completed by the passenger 72 hours before the flight. Passenger must print out the completed form or save it electronically on a mobile phone.

Somon Air operates regular flights from Dushanbe - Istanbul and return twice a week - on Tuesdays and Fridays. Departure from Dushanbe: at 06:20 local time, and from Istanbul: at 11:05 local time.

Attention to passengers for the Dushanbe-Istanbul service:

Please note that according to requirements, all passengers must wear face masks and disposable gloves at the airport and on board. Passengers with high body temperature or symptoms of illness will not to be permitted aboard. Before boarding, all passengers must complete the Passenger Locator Form, which must be submitted at Istanbul Airport upon arrival. According to rules of Ministry of Health of Turkey, all passengers (6 years and older) including transit passengers must hold a negative result of COVID-19 (PCR) test issued in English not earlier than 72 hours prior to departure. The certificate of a negative result must be authentic, not altered, and carried out by a medical facility and certified by the seal of the medical institution. Persons with COVID-19 are not permitted to travel. Please note that spreading of infectious diseases, including COVID-19 virus, is a criminal offence.

Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, all passengers are required to undergo a COVID-19 symptom test. If symptoms of COVID-19 are detected or/and if individuals fail to present their test results they will be quarantined at their own address (house, hotel etc.) that they have declared to stay, those who do not declared address in Turkey will be quarantined at the places selected by the Ministry of Health of Turkey. On the 7th day of the quarantine passengers will be tested. Quarantine will be lifted for those having negative test result. Passengers with positive test result will be treated in accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines of the Ministry of Health. Passengers will receive the appropriate necessary treatment at their own expenses or at the expense of the health insurance company. For this reason, having health insurance is highly recommended.

Attention to passengers for the Istanbul-Dushanbe service:

According to requirements, all passengers must wear face masks and disposable gloves at the airport and on board. Passengers with high body temperature or symptoms of illness will not to be permitted aboard. Passengers must hold a certificate of negative COVID-19 result, obtained by testing by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method, carried out within 72 hours prior to arrival in Tajikistan. Children under 3 years are excepted from this requirement.

Foreigners who wish to travel to Dushanbe must have a permit issued by a Tajik Authority (the Republican Headquarters for strengthening anti-epidemic measures to prevent transmission and emergence of new COVID-19 cases in the Republic of Tajikistan) before entering Tajikistan, as well as a visa (if required) and a certificate showing the negative result of COVID-19 test, obtained via testing by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method, carried out within 72 hours prior to arrival in Tajikistan. Holders of Turkish passports as well as UAE and Uzbekistan passports wishing to travel from Istanbul to Dushanbe, do not need permission from the authorising body of the Republic of Tajikistan to enter the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan.
